The office employee
you can afford to hire.
You're good at the work. The paperwork is what's eating your evenings. The Bid Desk is the office department you rent instead of staff — logos, merch, and websites at a flat rate, then bids, contracts, estimates, scopes of work, scheduling, and social media handled every month.
Two ways we work: build it once, or run it monthly.
Flat-rate projects get your business looking legitimate. The monthly desk keeps the paperwork moving after that. Take one, take both — most crews start with a build and add the desk once they see their evenings back.
Built for you
Pay once, own it. No hourly billing, no surprise invoice at the end.
Websites $500 flat
A clean, fast one-page site with a built-in quote form. Free mockup before you pay, live in a week guarantee.
Logos Flat rate
A real mark instead of clip art — delivered in every file you'll need for signage, shirts, trucks, and the web.
Merch Quoted
Shirts, hoodies, hats, yard signs, truck decals. We design it and handle the ordering, so the boxes just show up.
Handled for you
The office work that piles up on the dash of your truck. Month to month — cancel anytime.
Bids & estimates
You send measurements and numbers from the field. We write it up clean, priced, and professional, then get it to the customer.
Contracts & scopes of work
Clear scopes and consistent contract paperwork for every job, so what you agreed to is actually in writing.
Scheduling
Walkthroughs, estimate appointments, and start dates booked and confirmed — without you calling anyone back at 9pm.
Social media $150/mo
Job photos turned into steady posts on a real schedule. Add it to any plan, or take it on its own.
Two framers don't need a third truck. They need a desk.
Picture a framing outfit with two guys on the crew. Work is steady. But bids get written at the kitchen table on Sunday, the contract is whatever they used last time, and the customer who called Tuesday still hasn't heard back.
They don't have enough office work to justify a full-time hire — salary, payroll tax, benefits, a desk to sit at. They just need the office work done. That's the whole job of The Bid Desk: be the office, without being on the payroll.
What you'd do instead
- A salary every month, busy or slow
- Payroll tax, workers' comp, benefits
- Hiring, training, and covering time off
- Enough office work to fill 40 hours — or you're paying for idle time
- One flat monthly number you can plan around
- No payroll, no benefits, no HR
- Already trained, already set up
- Scale up in busy season, cancel when you don't need it
Three steps. No lock-in, no guesswork.
Whether you need a logo, a website, or somebody to take the paperwork off your plate entirely — it starts the same way.
Tell us what's piling up
A quick call — what you do, what office work is falling behind, and what you'd hand off tomorrow if you could.
We show you the work first
Design work starts with a free mockup — a real logo or site preview, not a sketch. Desk plans start with a sample bid or estimate built from one of your real jobs.
Approve it, we take it from there
Builds go live within a week of your approval — that's the in a week guarantee, not an estimate. Monthly plans start immediately and run month to month.
Flat to build. Flat to run.
No hourly billing, no retainer you can't read, no upsell maze — just clear numbers.

For most small crews, yes — the office half of one. If you have real office needs but not forty hours of them, you shouldn't be paying a salary, payroll tax, and benefits to cover it. You hand us the paperwork and pay one flat monthly number instead.
Any bid, contract, estimate, or scope of work we prepare and send on your behalf. Desk Essentials covers five a month at $1,000; Desk Unlimited is $2,500 a month with no cap. If you're quoting more than five jobs a month, Unlimited is almost always the cheaper math.
Yes. Social media management is $150 a month either way — as an add-on to a desk plan, or on its own with no other subscription.
No. Monthly plans run month to month and you can cancel anytime. Flat-rate builds are one-time projects with no ongoing commitment at all.
That's still a flat $500, still a free mockup before you pay, and still the in a week guarantee. No monthly plan required — plenty of clients start there and never add one.
Once you approve your mockup and send over any final details, your one-page site goes live within seven days. It's a commitment we make up front, not a rough estimate.
Not at all. We'll work with whatever you have, help source clean stock photography if you don't have your own, and building you a proper logo is one of the things we do.
It's quoted, because a dozen hats and fifty hoodies aren't the same order. We design the artwork and handle the ordering, then give you one number before anything gets printed.
The $500 covers the design and build. Hosting isn't included by default, but we're happy to set it up and manage it for a small monthly add-on if you'd rather not deal with it.
No. The trades are where the need is loudest, but any small business with more office work than office staff is a fit — salons, shops, cleaners, detailers, studios.
Let's get the paperwork off your plate.
